Herman is the ultra long hair new power metal guitar hero from the London based band DragonForce (formerly called DragonHeart), currently signed to Sanctuary/Noise Records (Iron Maiden, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Megadeth, Halford etc) Self-taught guitarist Herman 'Shred' Li has been playing guitar since November 1992 from the age of 16. Experienced live and studio with a very animated eye catching stage presence, he is the man behind those technical, over the top, hyper guitar fret work in DragonForce. After having played in many different types of metal and rock bands from the first day he started guitar (thrash/death metal, hard rock etc.), he has finally found the right musicians together to play the type of music he always wanted to play... DragonForce's music, the melodies that have been bleeding in his heart to be expressed for many years have now finally found a home. His experience also includes touring as special guest with Halford and Stratovairus. Herman has performed at Jemfest 2001 in London last year.
