Details & History
Identical to the 2618/12 that first appeared in the December 1977
catalogue, showing the 1978 line of Artist guitars, this is thought to be
a prototype used in production meetings during 1977, the only difference
is the Rickenbacker style machine head set up which was dropped in favour
of the more usual elongated headstock with like sized smooth tuners found
on the production version.
