Details & HistoryThis is the guitar designed with the help of guitar giant Steve Vai. This is NOT the Vai Signature series. {Actually it is. Both the Jem's and the UV are considered Vai Signature guitars. Ed!} This Ibanez 7 string is around a 1990 model and still in mint condition. Everything works perfectly. It is a UV7 Model Serial # 000346. It has DiMarzio pickups (2 double coil and 1 single coil) and a five way toggle switch. It also features the locking tremolo system. It has green dot inlay and a black pickguard with green trim. This guitar was rarely played and comes with the original hardshell case. The case also has a combination lock. |

Details & HistoryGreat guitar in great condition, the bolt on plate isn't so clear in the picture a lot of the pictures below don't do this great guitar justice. The guitar is in perfect working condition. This guitar is great for many styles. Steve Vai is most notably for playing the Ibanez Universe series guitars. If your a collector this will be a great addition to your collection.

Details & HistoryYou are looking at an original Ibanez UV7 Universe 7 string guitar. The timeless cry of "I have too many guitars!" is the reason behind this auction. I'm really gonna hate to see this one go. If you're looking at this auction, chances are you already know what this guitar is capable of. Everything from giant 4 octave runs a la Steve Vai and John Petrucci, ultra-heavy Korn/Fear Factory style riffs and even Lenny Breau/George van Eps-esque fingerstyle jazz (complete with your own baselines!) The guitar is in excellent condition, and more importantly, sounds great. With the gain cranked, the DiMarzio pick ups capture the low B with no muddiness at all, and some cool strat style tones can be obtained in the split positions. And the Ibanez Lo pro edge bridge is the best in the business. A few things: On the bottom edge of the guitar there are some very small (match head sized) chips that could easily disappear with a dab from a jiffy marker. Also on the top 'horn' of the guitar there is a very fine scratch (you cant see it in the pics). It looks as if a white hair is stuck to the guitar. Also included is a very plush non-Ibanez hard case ($100 value) and the whammy bar of course. Lets give this guitar a new home! Personal Cheques must be cleared before shipping. |
