RS1000
Roadstar Custom

SN: F832057 YEAR: 1983 OWNER: Dennis

Details & History

Here is a true example of an unplayed collector's guitar. An awesome RS1000CS in every aspect. The serial # is: F832057. The condition of this guitar challenges that of a factory new offering. There is no doubt after looking at this guitar that the owner before me simply kept it in it's case and never played it. Guitars of this quality do not come around too often, and I consider myself quite fortunate to have had the opportunity to add it to my collection of Ibanez Roadstars.

Details & History

This I a brief history of the guitar as well as what I do with it. I am Canadian and play in a band called Rush City Road we play area bars for the fun of it covering bands like The Tragically Hip, Creed, Live, GooGoo Dolls, Eve6, and 3 Doors Down some originals and many many more.

As for the guitar I bought it from a friend in 1984 for $175 with a case and patch cord. It is not in perfect condition with a few dings and scars. It is mostly original with the exception of the following, brass nut, Sperzel locking tuners, sanded down neck (for that velvet feel) and a locking system to keep the tremolo bar in place.

Even though it is well used I would rather give up my right leg than part with this guitar in fact I am looking to buy another one.
