Details & History
Hi,
First of all, Great site!
My name is Danny Volwerk and I'm from The
Netherlands.
I've always played Ibanez guitars, my first
one was a RX 40, then I got a JS 100.
Recently I am a proud owner of an Ibanez RG
3120FM Prestige!
My first question is: Do you know in what
colors they were made back in 1998?
I think mine is Twilight Blue, but sometimes
in the sun the guitar is green.
Here are some pictures of my RG and I hope
you will put them on your site.
It has offset abalone dots, 3 pc prestige
neck with jumbo frets.
A DiMarzio PAF pro in Neck position and a
Seymour Duncan JB in Bridge position.
It has a mahogany body with an AAA flamed
maple top and natural binding.
Thanks,
Kind regards,
Danny Volwerk

Details & History Great guitar in Twilight blue with flame top. DiMarzio Pick-ups and Lo-Pro trem. Prestige wizard maple neck with rosewood board. When Ibanez changed Tems and all RG's to prestige, some of the US stores sold their stock of these off really cheap - making this guitar a bargain for any second hand buyer (or a nightmare if you bought one brand-new before the price drop!!!) Well worth the money at those second-hand prices. Go get one! Tim Walls

Details & History found this guitar hanging on the wall at a local music store and had to look twice (since it was hanging in between several PRS's). Apparently it was a special order gone awry... someone ordered it and didn't have the funds when it arrived. I fell in love with it immediately. I'd been looking for a suitable backup for the JPM for some time, and this was similar enough in setup but different enough in tone (due to the mahogany body and different pickups) that it would be a worthy investment. Tone, craftsmanship, and playability are all top notch, which makes me glad I didn't spend over twice as much for a similarly-equipped PRS. Over time, it has become one of my favorites, so much so that I'd consider selling off the JPM before I'd sell this.
