When I saw this guitar listed on E-bay, my first thought was, "If I ever built a custom guitar, it would be almost exactly like this..." With a mahogany body, a sweet swirled finish, some of my favourite pickups (Air Norton and Steve's Special), and an acoustic pickup, this is probably as close to my dream guitar as I'll ever find. I haven't had it for long, but I can already tell that it will become one of my main players just because it's so unique and perfect in almost every way--it must be good since I sold off my RG6-CST J-Custom to buy this. This guitar bears almost no resemblance now to the original 2020x-TB model, which was stained transparent blue, had stock Ibanez V7/V8 pickups, and had different switches in different locations.

Original Ibanez V7'V8 pickups were replaced. 5-way pickup selector switch was replaced with a 3-way switch. Magnetic-piezo selector switch was also replaced with a 3-way switch for simultaneous electric/acoustic sounds. Black straploks installed |
