LS300
Lonestar

No.  84021041H YEAR: 1984 CONTACT: Mark Evans

Details & History

I’m the owner of 84021041H, a blue sunburst (identical to the one owned by Jesús Echevarría on your site, except with a couple of dents in the neck!)
Purchased in Bristol in 1988, I really think this is the best acoustic ever made (everything else seems clumsy by comparison, including quite a few electrics).

Details & History

My parents bought me this guitar in the summer of 1984 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA.
It has basically been unplayed since that time.

Model No: LS-300
Serial No: 84100164H

In one of the photos you can see the little black vinyl case that holds an Allen key and 2 white "ivory" bridges.
I also have a carrying case with it as well.

Details & History

Ibanez Acoustic guitar of the Lonestar series (six a side headstock) LS300MS, serial number 84030428H. My parents bought if for me new in 1985 from Ivor Marrantz in London as a birthday present. I have only ever seen one other (mine is in sunburst blue, while the other I saw was in sunburst brown. As the serial number does not conform to your page description, and I have not found any others, is this a rare guitar? What would it be worth now? I certainly do not want to sell it as it has momentous sentimental value. I have also put a pickup in it myself (albeit a simple one).
