Details & History Customized Ibanez 540 Radius guitar, not a JS series guitar. Made in Japan--same model Satriani played before he put his signature on it and made it the JS Series. Airfoil body style--ultra-comfortable for long playing. Amazing blue glow-in-the-dark finish with Donnie Hunt-style high gloss paintjob. The finish charges up quickly in sunlight or strong light source and glows for hours. No joke...this is a stunner. If you want to steal the show on a dark stage, this is the guitar for you. Plays great. Chrome Gotoh tuners, humbucker rings, knobs, locking nut. Black Edge tremolo. Trem cavity is deep for whammy pullbacks. Headstock is black with stock Ibanez logo. All in great condition. Back of neck has that satin smooth, played-in feel. Rosewood fingerboard has abalone dot fret markers and glow side dots to allow easy playing in the dark. This guitar glows a heavenly blue and the faces seem to float around the body. This guitar never fails to make jaws drop when the case is opened! The guitar was professionally finished by Herc Fede of FEDECUSTOMSHOP.COM (tons of amazing pics on the site of his amazing work). The pictures of this guitar pretty accurately depict the graphics in sunlight (outside), indoor and in the dark. Humbuckers are Seymour Duncan '59, basically a PAF Pro model in the neck position and an Ibanez high output humbucker in the bridge. The tone has a push-pull pot. Pickups can be replaced to player's personal taste/sound. 3 way switch. All hardware, except bridge, is brand new chrome. This is basically a copy of a Donnie Hunt Ibanez, without the high price (discontinued) but this one has a unique feature that is rare...the glow factor. This guitar has barely been played since the customization.
