I had this JS600 plated by the Los Angeles custom shop. I already have 2 Chromeboys, but am too afraid to play either of them. Also, I prefer a fixed bridge, so I decided to have this guitar made. The metal coat gives it more sustain than my other non-plated JS600. Also, the lack of any tremolo gives it a lot more sustain than my other Chromeboys.
