Details & History

Mahogany bodied JS series guitar with a set bridge (great axe!!!). Most prefer this one over the JS series that has a stained mahogany body and the ??P90?? pickups. FRED and PAF PRO with the same push/pull volume and tone knobs for the coil split and high pass filter.

Details & History

Released 1992 this is the Oil finish later to be seen on the JS6000OL of 1994. this is the 'prototype' Joe refers to in his articles.
Mahogany body, with a fixed bridge, the oil finish and solid body giving this design a big fat warm sound. The idea with this guitar was to expand the JS range to give 'a whole line of guitars with different forms but a uniform feel'.
PAF-Pro's and FRED as standard.
