I found this guitar about 5 years ago in a pawn shop. I listened to a
lot of Joe's music growing up and I felt compelled to buy it. Recently I
started wanting more information about this guitar as it still
intrigues me to this day. I was originally told it was a JS3,
however a previously answered email told me it was a 540R. I
received an email from the sender again today saying that it was a JS3,
along with several images of this guitar from 1990- 993 Ibanez
catalogs. Sorry for the confusion.
The serial number is J 000489. Its previous owner played it a lot, I
can tell from the sweat stained neck. There are a couple chips in the
paint, and I am currently looking for information on restoring it.
