Details & History Year of Purchase/Manufacture : 2004 Serial Number : F0404538 Details and History : The guitar before you is the 2004 Ibanez JS 1200CA (Candy Apple). Rather than giving you boring specifications like ever other entry, I'll just give a little insight on the guitar's history (a short one albeit). Acquired in the United Arab Emirates, I was a lucky tosser as it was the last piece in stock and had to be brought in from Abu Dhabi (another city). However truth be told, I disliked playing it at first. Most probably because it was my first electric guitar. Now that I've grown relatively accustomed to the feel of electric guitars I can say that this guitar is a real beauty. With a variety of tones and sounds I feel it can pretty much cover anything except well , the sound of a nylon! My only gripe is that when sitting down with a JS, the body tends to slide , rather than a JEM or RG where the side of the body is flat against your lap. When standing up , its a whole different story. So far , I haven't seen a picture that has done this guitar justice. Even the picture I've supplied doesn't really show how the finish truly looks like. Its got a metallic-like finish rather than being flat red. Theres not much more I can add other than mentioning the great feature existing on most JS' being the High-Pass Filter and the Coil Tap Filter. Last of all but certainly not the least , this guitar is not for sale! =)
