JS1000

Original JS1000 with the 3 pickups! I quite like the middle DiMarzio HS-2 pickup, I don't ever see why Ibanez discontinued this. Probably because Joe himself didn't want it, seeing as how it's his signature guitar. In any case, I find the combinations great. Also, that R body shape is so nice and sleek.

Details & History

It is a SLEEK feeling guitar and definitely one of the most versatile guitars I have ever played. It has a PAF PRO and a FRED pickup (both DiMarzio) and push pull volume and tone knobs (coil split and high pass filter). The body is basswood and the neck is maple w/ a rosewood fret board.

Ibanez Joe Satriani "JS1000", made in Japan, Electric guitar is in practically new condition, and comes with Ibanez hardshell case, vibrato bar and adjusting wrenches.

New for 1998 was the white finish on the JS1000. {Nice! Ed!}
