JEM7BSB
|
| SN: N/A | YEAR: N/A | OWNER: John P |
Details & HistoryEver since the Jem came out, i totally fell in love with it. It was only 9 years later ('95) when i bought my first Jem, a Jem555BK. It had a black pickguard instead of a pearloid one and the headstock had Jem on it (not like other 555's witch have "Jem J" on them. Had the Jem555 for almost a year and had it turned in and got a Jem7BSB. If i check it's serial # F524871 (and done it correctly), it's made in 1995. Witch is a bit weird cause the made the market in '96. Now 8 years later it has scratches and dents (character). Everything on it is standard except for Steve Vai's signature.

Details & HistoryGuitar was bought new by me in spring of 2000. Serial number is F9825533 so I guess it was made in 1998. There's not much to say about it, it's just your basic BSB. Plays and sound excellent of course, I don't think I'll ever sell it. Pekka

Details & HistoryUp for auction is an Ibanez Jem 7 BSB w/case(MC100). This is not a Jem case, but works well to protect the guitar. These guitars went out of production years ago and are hard to find. This one is in the same condition it was when I bought it from the music store. It has been kept in it's case, has hardly been played and is in excellent condition. There are some superficial scratches on the pickups, and pickguard, but nothing along the line of deep gauges or anything. I think anyone but a perfectionist would be very happy with the condition of the guitar. The finish on it is astounding. It is called Burnt Stained Blue. It is made to resemble a burnt piece of wood. The guitar plays and sounds awesome. It includes DiMarzio Evolution pickups in the H-S-H configuration, a lo-pro edge tremelo system, powder coated hardware and pickguard (silver-grayish in color), screw head inlays, and an all access neck joint. The whammy bar is the only accessory that comes with the guitar. I don't have the wrenches, etc. |

Details & HistoryYou are bidding on one of the greatest playing guitars I have ever owned. So you ask well then why sell this guitar??? Well I have recently ordered a custom guitar from gmw and I need money (you should take a look at their stuff they are great! Gmwguitars.com). Anyway if you are looking at this, you know the details, 24 fret jem neck, evos, lo pro edge trem, beautiful bsb body. Trust me this thing is awesome!! The guitar itself plays great and is in great condition except for two things, there is some wear on the back of the neck and on the grip (this is to be expected of the bsbs because they have no clearcoat and it would be near impossible to find one that doesn't have it). |

Details & HistoryBurnt Stained Blue, a nice finish with dulled pickguard and screw head inlays, not my favourite inlay, but industrial non the less. one of only two production Jem's without the last four frets scalloped, presumably due to the inlays (metal and router blades don't mix. Ed.) not really the most popular, but love the look myself. would be nice with an industrial inlay, but not the fairly plain dots. |
