a present I got from a business colleague... The GMC which was pretty beat up and with an EMG. This one is very, very light and plays great. Looks great too, the green swirl is my favourite swirl of all.

Details & History

This is a one-of-a-kind genuine GMC body (only 366 made). The rest is different to the guitars that you might know. It has a regular RG neck instead of the one with green vine inlays like on the 777VBK. It might be a prototype/employee guitar cause it differs in several features from the production GMC that is shown in the catalogue. I can prove that it is an original ATD finish, the body has a stamp in the neck joint. But it never had a pick guard ! No screw holes, nothing. Chances are that this is the only one in existence without the guard. Also it has other pickups and a regular Edge trem. I only had it lying around here so it needs some adjusting. The features are:

- American basswood body
- Maple neck with a rosewood fretboard (RG 550)
- Cosmo black hardware
- DiMarzio Fred humbucking, IBZ USA humbucking (neck), Jem single
- Volume and tone controls, 5-way-switch

As you can see in the pic's it has several chips but the swirl is very tight, better than most other GMC's that I have seen on the net or in shops.

Another fantastic finish from Darren at About Time Designs (Single handedly put the rock back into roooccckk Ed.) Low Pro Edge trem, Green vine inlay, Green logo Green PU's and that wonderful paint. made a lot of people see green (with envy). DiMarzio Paf Pro Lo-Pro term as per the early Jem standard.
