Now one of the world's classic guitars, the JEM has a formidable array of technical features that are even more impressive than its striking appearance.
A 25 1/2" scale neck features a 43mm nut for comfortable string spacing and 24 frets for greater range. A bridge set deeper into the body with a recessed tremolo cavity provides right hand playing comfort and allows strings to be raised or lowered. Hum-Sing-Hum pickups with Split V switching allow access to any kind of tone.

Floral jem in very good condition, (a couple of small scratches on the side of the body and a little of the usual pitting on the neck plate, shine on the trem where the hand rests). Well set up, plays superbly, sounds fantastic. Comes with Ibanez hard case. This guitar has been well looked after and is just a little bit special. Cheques to clear, buyer to pay postage etc. Can deliver to N.West.

1997 Model Steve Vai Ibanez Jem 77FP. Floral Pattern finish, rosewood fingerboard with green vine inlay, pink DiMarzio pickups, maple neck, awesome player! This guitar is near mint, has a few pick scratches from some minor playing, and 1 scratch on the side, other than that it's just about perfect! No oxidation on the neck plate, and no neck joint crack like most jems. This beauty comes with the original pink lined Ibanez Jem case in excellent condition. Money orders ship immediately, checks are held till they clear. No reserve, buyer pays $30 shipping. Good Luck!

Steve's Mom's curtains. The 'Floral' JEM, the longest production run of any JEM, The finish was made by laying Steve's Mom's kitchen curtains over the JEM body then lots of clear-coat. works a treat, an effect I have achieved in my little workshop. (Well aren't you clever. Ed.) green vine inlay pink DiMarzio PAF-Pro as per the early JEM standard. Very desirable and very Vai.
