Steve Vai signature design. originally a jem777sk it has been refinished and repainted by Darren Johansen of About Time Designs, (the original Ibanez swirl painter and painter of the famous DNA Jem swirl and the original Passion & Warfare Steve Vai Universe on which this design is based). Multi coloured pyramid inlay, Monkey grip, Lions claw. this is a 1987 model with the pink PAF-Pro pick ups replaced with the best pick up ever made (my opinion) the green DiMarzio Evolutions, used on the later JEM series guitars and preferred by Mr. Vai. The body has been totally refinished and then painted so the result is brand new but with wonderful old wood, so a fantastic tone. The neck has had some headstock work but has been left largely alone as its so sweet, it has had a refret before I purchased, but no real wear. The headstock has been finished in shocking pink with a custom clear plate with the Ibanez and JEM logo's engraved on the reverse and in filled in green. looks amazing. all the pick-up's, pyramid inlays, control knobs and headstock glow under UV light, all the hardware is original and in great working condition with no unusually wear.
Please understand this IS a real and genuine Jem777, the only difference is
the new paint and headstock work.
