Details & HistoryIbanez Steve Vai model 777 in Loch ness green. Original condition, signed on the back by Steve Vai and numbered #359. Pyramid inlays on maple fretboard. Serial # on the neck plate is 870327. This is a very cool guitar that is getting hard to find. It is all original, but it has been played. This is not a mint condition showpiece. Overall good condition, the trem shows wear from someone's hand resting on it. As you can see by the pic, the back trem plate is missing. The guy that originally owned the guitar had some really sweaty hands. The neck shows discoloration from this. There are NO dents or dings in the neck or the rest of the guitar for that matter and it doesn't affect playability, but the fretboard does show discoloration. Also the back of the body shows some slight checking in the finish. Other than that, as you can see the front still looks great. There are no dings or dents. It has just been played. Recently setup with 10's, adjusted, etc, so it plays smooth with a low action. Comes with non-original hard case and trem bar. |

Details & History777 of these day glow beauties were produced, each one hand signed and numbered by Steve Vai. The signatures were in a number of places, but mostly on the back of the body. A number had the signature on the trem cavity cover plate, which presumably meant the guitar wasn't available for signing at the time. This was the first production JEM by Ibanez and made up one of the initial three the sisters being the DY desert yellow, and the SK shocking pink. This Loch Ness Green was and still is one of the most sort after Guitars. Technically, the DiMarzio PAF-Pro humbuckers and Jem single pickups Maple fretboard with disappearing multicolored pyramids Edge Trem and of course all that glow in the dark paint, knobs and pickup tops. What a JEM!! |
