Control layout wise, volume in standard place,
maybe 3mm lower than usual,
tone pot in normal position, toggle switch approximately where the
second volume on a dfouble edge equipped guitar would be,
can be moved here or there so as the access panel coincides
with that of the output jack, basically this helps as normally the
barrel
jacks are a pin in the arse to replace with the small cavity they
are locvated in. |

The guitar was originally meant to have a korina body,
but due to problems sourcing instrument quality grade wood I went with
Swamp ash with a proper maple top. Turned out to be an excellent choice as
the guitar just sings!
As far as the inlay goes I did want something different
and dark, so I went for an inlay depicting the seal of Pazuzu, the lord of
all fevers and plagues from the necronomicon. As you can see the inlay
work is quite intricate, and took a good few months to do!
Also, and it's not on the spec sheet, I had the trem
cavity routed out a bit deeper than usual (as well as the 5mm extra body
thickness) and when I got the guitar, i replaced the edge pro with a lo
pro edge (just preferred the
feel) so although it was delivered with an edge pro,
it's spent most of it's life with a lo pro edge.
