Here is my ICEMAN II IC 50 in regal
blue. Japan made in 1982. Serial # B824850. It’s in mint condition.
I’ve found it on e-bay a few years ago, with its original case.
I love the feeling of the neck and the sound of the pick ups; great p.u’s : a super70 on neck and a V2 on bridge. The V2 came “d’origine”- from factory- without cover. It’s a high output beast...woaw! but the guitar is versatile, can play rock and hard, of course but also blues (great), even jazz (neck p.u), no problem. fantastic with crunchy tones. I play essentially blues with it, especially slide. (on slide I raise the action and it’s a little bit pity, cause the neck can have a super low action, great sounding without buzz...excellent playability.)
I only play at home with it because of its mint condition, don’t want to ding it.
