Details & History

Avon SG copy

My first guitar, as old as me. My mate painted it up for me and the

back is signed by my old mates at school. It has recently been fitted

with a Seymour Duncan JB pickup to give it a bit of warmth.

Jem7BSB

My first Jem, this one is a 98 model and is my favourite live guitar.

Its been thrown around, set on fire, you name it, but it still remains

a mighty fine Jem, a real smooth sound and a great compromise of a neck.

Jem77FP

This my latest addition is a 97 model and is in pristine condition. Has

always visually been my favourite Jem and I love the sound of the pick

ups, a real raw tone to it.

Jem2KDNA

Number 218/300, the pride of the collection. Not much played these

days, the neck is almost not there, its so thin. The pick ups also

sound a bit more harsh than the BSB. I don't fancy getting a knock with

this axe. Imagine the repair bill???

Fender Stratocaster.

A 2003 model, its an American standard. After seeing videos of Hendrix

and Vaughan, realised that tone only comes from a Strat. The Jem gets

half way there but this is a real beaut. As I hope to be still playing

in my 80s I cant see me there with a Jem?!!

Gibson Les Paul Standard.

A 2002 model, again, after growing up with Pageand recently, Zack, when

I saw the colour of this and heard the tone, well!! I've always got this

guitar, wherever I play.

Yamaha LLX 400

My only acoustic guitar, this Yamaha sounds perfect plugged in with its

own small boom mike inside the box and a piezo pick up. It has a

mahogany side and neck with an ebony finger board so the action is also

very low.
