I bought my first Ibanez back in 1984, an '84 Roadstar II Deluxe Bass, marine sunburst, black hardware - the one that resembles a Ric, not a Fender. It's one of the best basses I have ever come across, both for playability and sound (incredible in the studio, even engineers are amazed at the sound). Recently I bought a Acoustic/Electric AEB30LG and a SRX705 5 string. I came across an '84 RS1300 for sale that I have always wanted (very similar to my bass), so I bought it, and I'm damn happy I did.
