Details & History My name is Julian HEYMES, I'm French. I bought an EX 140 on eBay on January 2005 for 100 euros. Its serial number is 1020054 and made in Korea in 1991. The guitar is black like Eric Baquiran's one. The guitar sounds not well in clean but very nice with overdrive or distortion. Pick up configuration is S/S/H. I will send some better pictures

Ibanez EX140 I bought last weekend for roughly US$150 :) I was rather surprised to see that it was dated 1990 yet have a neck less worn than the SV470. I bought it for my younger brother so he would have an instrument of his own instead of using the SV470.

It is an Ibanez EX140, serial number 9005822, which would likely date it back to 1989. This particular model was made in Korea, although the serial number does not have the "C" prefix as noted in your Ibanez dating guide. I was told by the person I bought the guitar from, that it was previously owned by Aaron Funk, of the Venetian Snares.
