1978 Ibanez Professional "Bob Weir" model. It's by far one of the coolest and most decorative guitar that Ibanez has ever made. This is also an AMAZINGLY well built guitar with AMAZING tone. It has a very nice straight neck with great frets. It's all original and 100% complete including the original hardshell case. This is also one of the cleanest Professional models that I've ever seen as it's in EXCELLENT condition.

Details & History

A friend of mine has a friend that has been keeping his guitars in a pawn shop, and has recently had to give a few of them up before they fell into the pawn shop owner's hands. He has given away two pawn tickets on guitars that were about to be lost. My friend got a very nice Washburn Les Paul, and a few months later, the Bob Weir became available, and it was offered to me. The total to get it out of pawn was $550, a steal compared to the actual cash value of the guitar. It is in excellent condition. It has very minor buckle rash on the back. NO flaws on the front, and one ding of finish knocked off the edge of the headstock where it would hang in a wall hanger. The hardware is in exceptionally good shape for a 24 year old guitar that has been played. It plays like a dream having recently done a string change and setup.
