2681BS
Bob Weir Professional Model

SN: N/A YEAR: 1976 OWNER: Andrew Butler

Details & History

I have had this guitar for about 15 years, it has not been gigged
It has some small light surface marks on the back
It has the block type logo which is the same on the tuners
The gold plate has worn
The tailpiece is not the quick release type and has no decoration
The pickups are have no logo on the front
The lacquer has worn slightly on the carving on the top
The neck back is perfect
The frets have not been done since I have had it
The strap button has been moved because it didn't balance from the cutaway

As I have said I have had the guitar for many years, it is a good old friend. It replaced a Gibson SG which never stayed in tune. The Ibanez never goes out of tune. Prior to the SG I had an Iceman which was great although the funny tailpiece kept on falling off when I was playing it.

I have never seen another 2681 in the same colour as this one, I think it looks even better than the ash finish.

If someone makes me an offer that I can't refuse I will consider selling the guitar, I am not advertising it as for sale.
