ATK600, s/n: F602375
This is my second ATK. I got this one from the German
eBay this year. I sold my BTB405 a while before to fund another 4
stringer. I got it for a nice price.
I didn't like the pearl pickguard and white trussrod cover so I got them
off. I wanted to see more of that very nice maple top.
I'm positive that the fretboard isn't rosewood. It looked suspiciously
dark when I got it. Later I showed it to my grandfather and he identified
it as cocobolo. He made furniture all his life so there's a big chance
he's right. And cocobolo on a fretboard isn't unthinkable.
Recently I detuned this bass to B (tuning: BEAD) which was why I bought it
in the first place. It B-string turned out to be tighter than the one I
had on the BTB405!!
Great basses, I'm searching for a reason to buy a third ATK. :-D
