AM80

SN: N/A YEAR: N/A OWNER: Roger Dean

Details & History

This guitar was given to me by Jack Massarik who, like myself, was a founder member of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers.
He's now Jazz critic for the 'Evening Standard'.
The instrument has exceptionally powerful pickups, although one has been changed to a DiMarzio somewhere along the guitar's history -- it's actually more powerful than my Les Paul. If only I'd owned it when I was playing the Blues in the 60's --- it would have sounded just fine through my old AC30 (flat out of course!) It sounds like a 335, but the super slim body makes it much more comfortable on long gigs.
I must apologise for the quality of the photo's --- but I'm a guitar player, not a photographer !!
All the best Jerry, Roger Dean.
