The 540 S (Or "S 540" how it's used in common, but a scan of an old
Ibanez-Catalogue and the small sticker at the back of the Headstock say
"540 S") I don't know really much about it (it was an exchange deal with a
Yamaha-Synthesizer a few years ago). It used to be Neon Yellow (urgh). I
sanded it off, sprayed it white, painted the text and ornaments with a
permanent text marker on the body and let a professional do a perfect
clear finish. The Logo at the bottom is just a sticker. Since I'm a
Seymour Duncan-Fan I put a SH-4 at the bridge position and moved the (also
not original) pink DiMarzio-Humbucker from bridge-to neck-position. I have
it tuned to D - surprisingly it has a good low end with the Neck-PU
despite the thin body. It has 22 frets and the "Custom made" inlay in the
21nd fret (quite odd, it's not custom made, is it?)
