I bought it as a regular S470L in Paris (natural finish). Then I send it to the north of France for fret board and paintings jobs. I loved the skull design I saw on a Satch's guitar. But I was a very big fan of Steve Vai and its JEM. The vine inlay is so great ! I asked for this inlay on a ebony fret board I forgot to said I asked for 6105 Dunlop frets (frets on higher end JEM) for the comfort. The Luthier made a fabulous work!
The Luthier made it send me the guitar back. It takes a
very long time to receive it (I receive it one year after purchasing it in
the shop!!). Then I made himself all the electronics : change Pus to
DiMarzio then Seymour
Duncan (I try a lot of PUs for this particular guitar.... stick with SD '59
in neck, Cool Rails in middle, Custom Custom in bridge), change switch and
pots (Torres engineering, 1Meg pot)
I've got this guitar for 3 years. Very happy with it.
