Details & History S470 - (F9756562) unusual in that it is a 470 from 97
and was made in the Fuji factory Japan, not Korea like the later ones.
(are you starting to get the feeling i like black guitars???) This was
from Percy Prior's in Brum, no longer trading! |

Details & History I bought this S470 last week. SN: C04039959. Typical S470. Mahogany body. Wizard II neck. This one has the new ZR trem. Probably the best trem i've ever sampled and i used to have an RG550. Probably the first ZR trem in the registry too. I think. It might be just me or just this guitar but it seems like the Korean manufacturing lines are finally catching up. This guitar is built as good as the RG421 I was looking at before I bought this. But then again, that RG is 2 years old so maybe Korean guitar quality is now where Japanese guitar quality was 2 years ago. This weekend i will be dropping in new pickups: Breed (bridge), HS2 (mid) and Humbucker from Hell (neck).
