RG770FM
Flamed Maple

SN: F0119716 YEAR: 2001 OWNER: Imran Shamsul

Details & History

Purchased in Malaysia now it has a home in Melbourne, Australia. Excellent tone, very versatile and it has a lot of balls to it. Great for a wide variety of music from: jazz, blues, rock, metal and shred etc. It balances perfectly; nicely weighted, not too heavy not too light; great neck, very comfortable to play. Though I plan to change the current string gauge from 0.010s to 0.009s because the action is a little high for shred and metal but it is set up excellently for blues and jazz. Seems to be a rare guitar in Australia, I've been told it is a "much sought after" guitar. To summarise: It is one f**king SWEET axe!

I am the proud owner of an ibanez rg770 FM. This is quite a rare guitar in the Netherlands (this is where I live), because it is meant for the Japanese market. This is a real versatile, classy and sublime playing guitar. Although it isn't a Prestige, it has all the specs.
