One of the best guitars Ibanez has put on release in the UK for a long time. This is only my second Edge Pro, and I'm slowly getting used to it - I'm an original Edge Man really!! I've had a JCRG5 and a few 7VWH's and the Abalone in this particular one thrashes them all hands down, very iridescent and dances in the light. I only got this guitar as I needed fretboard markers that I could see in the dark - but I have fallen for it now! The blue looks better in pictures but the sunburst is much classier in the flesh and this one has a lovely subtle quilt.

Bound Mahogany Body with quilted maple top.
Ultra profile maple neck with satin finish (Thank You! - it's about time) Rosewood board with abalone and m.o.p. vine inlay (the J-custom inlay - not the jem one) Two DiMarzio Ibanez Pick-ups (H-H config) Edge-Pro Trem Matching colour figured maple headstock AANJ Trem-tinkering access through the back-plate (about time - again!)
The mods I've added are DiMarzio PAF Pro to the bridge and Air Norton to the neck with Petrucci style wiring, and for once I haven't had to have the finish removed from the back of the neck. Over the last few years I've been worried that Ibanez had stopped listening to it's customers in the UK, and cashing in a bit. The Prestige RG2820 is a much welcomed step to restoring my faith. This is scheduled for limited edition but with the recent death of the 3120 in the US, hopefully the 2820 will go into full production.
