Basswood body, super wizard neck with pearl binding, jumbo frets, edge
bridge.
I bought it in 2002, after 2 years of usage, I modified the whole pickup
system. The original V7/S1/V8 pickups were replaced by Fernandes
sustainer and DiMarzio Tonezone .Besides, one balance, one 3-way toggle
switch, three 2-way toggle switches were also added, while the original
5-way pickup switch was replaced by another 3-way switch. The toggle
switches starting from the left hand side function as sustainer on/off ,
sustainer mode (sustain/balance/feedback), split coil , and humbucker
mode (series/parallel) respectively. The jack input was moved to the
surface of the body , just like Gibson SG. The clear yellow pickguard
and backcovers were also custom made.
It now operates with a 9v battery, with the sustainer, the Tonezone
sounds awesome!!!!
