Ibanez J-Custom RG6CST. The piezo system in these guitars is incredible! When combined with a blank ebony board and swamp ash top, it's hard to put down. Specs are:
 
The RG6CST model is available in natural and features a mahogany body with a swamp ash top. Hum / Hum Dimarzio® pickups (Neck* PAF PRO, and Bridge* Tone Zone), and the patented Ibanez Double Edge Piezo Tremolo system.

The original Wizard neck is constructed of a three piece maple laminate with a blank ebony fretboard, matching swamp ash headstock, and extra hard jumbo frets. Only 24 were made.

Details & History

Ibanez [J-Custom] RG6-CST (1999)

This is one of the first Ibanez J-Custom that was available in the US. Produced only in 1999 and in very low production number. The retail price back then was somewhere between $2500-$3000.
This guitar produces sweet warm tones and excellent acoustic piezo sound.
You can probably tell that the guitar's been played if you're looking at the fretboard closely. everything else is in mint, like new condition, no wear.

  • Mahogany Body w/ 3 mm Swamp Ash top
  • 3 Piece maple, Ultra neck
    (if you're familiar with the Wizard neck, Ultra is around 2 mm thicker and also narrower)
  • Ebony fretboard
  • DiMarzio PAF Pro in the Neck position
  • DiMarzio Tone Zone in the Bridge position
  • 5-way pickup switch
  • Ibanez Double Edge Piezo tremolo bridge
  • Two output jacks (for separation of piezo & magnetic output, if needed)
  • 2 Volume knobs (for piezo & magnetic, when output separated)
  • 1 Tone knob
  • 1 Toggle switch (to switch between magnetic & piezo)
  • 1 Push button (to switch output mode)
  • 1 9V Battery needed for the piezo

Limitiertes 99`er Sondermodell aus dem Ibanez/Japan Custom-Shop. Mahagoni-Body mit Swamp-Ash Top. Ebenholz Griffbrett. 2-Humbucker, Double-Edge Tremolo mit Piezo-Bridge für Acoustik-Sounds! Sehr gute Verarbeitung und Sounds.
