Details & History

Just thought I would suggest listing the Ibanez DT400CS.It was the top of the line Ibanez, hand crafted in Japan. It had a quality top not seen since the  sixties flame-maple topped Les Pauls. I now own three of these wonderful guitars, they have held up to 20 years of pounding and come out still looking and performing as new. The black one used to be one of the red metallic ones, but I modified it when I worked at Scotty's custom guitar shop. I shaved the neck, re-angled the heel, moved the toggle to a Les Paul position, put a single coil size pickup at neck position, removed the two piece bridge and replaced with the Gibson over-under one piece, made a custom pickguard (Gibson style) and put a recessed strat style jack in the Ibanez position.

thanx Larnce
