I have a rare 1983 Destroyer II Adrian Smith edition with a single pickup. It has a metallic red headstock and body, and is a Destroyer II even though it has a single pickup. Supposedly there were only a few hundred made?
I bought it new in 1983 at Guitars Etc in Bellevue, WA. I think it was $425 list but I got it for $375. The salesman told me there were only a few hundred made and about 200 in the US, if memory serves (it was 20 years ago!).
